Ben had a great year at Utah State, but it was great to have him home. I always love the months with my boys before they leave on their missions.
He's been working hard at Subway.
He gets a free sandwich each time he works--and he actually eats it.
Every day.
We celebrated his 19th birthday---
and went with him to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.
Ben has spent a lot of time with Tina,
and we've enjoyed getting to know her.
Tina's mom made this beautiful cake for Ben's farewell.
I didn't even think to take pictures at the farewell because I was stressed about singing a duet with Reed (Come Thou Fount) and feeding pork tacos to eighty people.
Ben was supposed to enter the MTC on September 14, but his entry date was changed to October 5. He will be part of a pilot program and will only spend five weeks in the MTC instead of eight.
We only have a few days left.
And we're enjoying every minute.
