Micaela's favorite class is Orchestra. She and the small boy beside her are the only seventh graders who made it into Elite. She credits orchestra with her rapidly-improving sight-reading skills. Her new violin teacher deserves credit too.
Micaela had a 30-second solo during "El Toro" and when we complimented her afterwards she enumerated all of her performance's imperfections. I can't understand where she got her perfectionistic attitude. :)
