Go-Go Spring!

I can always count on spring to be a busy time, and this spring there has been some fun surprises. One of them was a quick day trip to practice a last-minute duet with Matthew for Michael and Nikki's wedding breakfast. I got to spend an hour with Alice and Bridger--a bonus! When I was growing up, Alice was always there for me--my "little mother." And here she is again, spending three mornings a week with my grandson--at his house. Both are great blessings!
Concerts. Recitals. Every spring. Micaela had a hard decision to make during the Grand Concert. Should she play the violin or sing during the final number. Here she is singing alto in Concert Choir.

And here she is playing first violin in Elite Orchestra.

And after a lot of thought, Micaela chose to play the violin in the final number. It's where she felt the most needed. We are so blessed to have great music teachers at the junior high.

I didn't get a picture of Ben out on the soccer field where he spent many hours practicing and competing so here he is after his last game. He didn't have a winning season, but Ben had a great time and learned a lot. He played most of the positions and got a goal and some assists. I'm so grateful for a positive, encouraging coach who knows how important it is to teach more than just the sport.

Our ward worked hard to organize a special day at the temple.

It meant a lot to be there with Ryan, Micaela and Ben.
