Ben loves to spend time with his brothers, so when we suggested that we spend his seventeenth birthday with Gary, Tiff & Bridger he was all for it. We hadn't seen them in a long time and there are very few free weekends. I was so glad Ben agreed, because if he hadn't liked the idea, it would have been almost impossible to talk him into it.
Tiff surprised Ben with a birthday cake--a real Wilson birthday cake--with blue seven-minute frosting. When we were done singing "Happy Birthday" with the second verse of "Many more birthdays. . ." Tiffany said that she had never heard it sung so beautifully. Then Gary admitted that he had sung the same note the entire time. We got a good laugh over that.
Because Ben is the youngest and the shortest of the boys, it's always hard for us to realize how old he is and each milestone comes too soon.
It was incredible how much Bridger had changed since we had seen him last.
One of my greatest joys is seeing how much my boys like to do things with each other. They love to play basketball and golf, watch BYU sports, and play video games together.
Will Bridger love balls as much as Gary does?

It's a good thing that Bridger isn't afraid of people because we don't see him often enough for him to remember us.
We ate a new Mexican Restaurant in an old train station. Best friend ice cream ever! Thanks, Ben. If it weren't your birthday we would never have known.
