Micaela and I are the only ones in the family who don't have traditional Wilson birthday cake for our birthdays. Micaela chooses coffee cake for breakfast. Duff made it and put the candles in the cake while it was so hot that the candles melted before Micaela could blow them out!
After Micaela went to an after school meeting for the musical (Yes, she made it into Bye, Bye, Birdie!) we went to New Moon, which we enjoyed, apart from some very corny lines.
The next day, we took her cousin Amanda, and her friend, Lorelle, ice skating at the Gallivan Center.
Then we went to a charming gourmet cookie shop on the west side of town. We were given some samples and all decided on the Margo, a chocolate cinnamon cookie with a chocolate mint molten center fresh from the oven. Mmmm. Duff thought it was the best cookie he has ever had!
