He's home!

Robbie was so cute that it eased the tension of waiting . . .

Reed said it was a bit surreal to come home. He thought Micaela had changed the most. Reed looked so much the same--more mature, perhaps, but much the same.

After a family dinner at Los Hermanos (family tradition) we brought Reed home. We couldn't find the "Welcome Home, Elder Wilson" sign we were hoping to re-use because we'd put it in such a "safe" place, so Duff's co-worker made this sign for us.

Reed was released by President Top, our new stake president. Hearing Reed express his testimony and his feelings about his mission was a huge payday as a parent. Unfortunately, Gary hadn't been able to get off work because he just started a new job, so in the evening, the boys got online with Gary to see if Reed had lost any of his skills with the stick.

Gary and Tiff were able to come down on Friday evening and we had a jam session. (Ryan is playing the drums on his iphone.) Reed had a lot of opportunities to sing on his mission, and when Grandma and Grandpa Wilson came over they asked him to sing a hymn for them a cappella. It's one of the things I've missed about him.

On Saturday, we all went to Micaela's game to cheer her on. Her cousin, Amanda, was on the other team. Amanda is on the far left in blue and Micaela is second from the right in white--the blurry one. It was a close game, but Amanda's team went up by three at the very end. During half time, Reed asked Ryan if he wanted to get a drink (at the drinking fountain) with him. Then he realized what he had done and went by himself.

Robbie likes to draw.

Bridger is ticklish.

Bridger likes to dance. He has a very distinctive style.

My boss was so good to let me borrow the basement of the library for our meal before church. When Reed left, we took a lot of our furniture out of the house and piled it in the garage--and it was still miserably crowded for 60 or so people.

We are so blessed to have such a supportive family.

Reed with old friends and new. The two on the end were great companions.

I love my Wilson sisters.

It's been almost four years since we've all been together. We're planning on taking a nice family picture taken after the two new babies are born.

Four generations.
