Micaela had a super-fun time performing in her junior high's performance of Bye Bye Birdie. She made a lot of friends and was so sad when it was over. She'll have an easier time getting her practicing done now, though. I made her dress (lime green is her favorite color) just like my mother (and grandmother) used to make mine.
The kids did a great job, and it brought back a lot of memories from my own junior high days. I was disappointed, though, that they cut out some of my favorite songs.
Micaela played the Mayor's wife, Edna, and though she had no lines...........
she did get to faint.
She also sang in a quartet.
Edna's fourth and final faint.
