At last the great day has arrived!
Micaela has graduated from Suzuki Violin!
She graduated from Book 8 with eight other violinists.
Micaela received her plaque.
It was fun for her to graduate with our neighbor, Carrie (in the pink) and two school friends (not in this photo).
Micaela and seven others graduated from Book 10.
(No one learns Book 9.)
When the Twinklers were playing I got choked up. All these years, the songs from the Suzuki books have been engraved in my brain and I often find myself humming them at random moments.
And I remember when Micaela was a Twinkler all those years ago.
We both agreed that it was worth it all.
Micaela looks at her plaque and realizes her name has been misspelled. Again.

Micaela will keep studying the violin, but today marked a great accomplishment.

Congrats Micaela... and Yara! I love hearing the violin played well. I know that you've both put in a lot of years, and hard work!
