Micaela in her Easter bonnet.
It's been a great blessing to work with these beautiful young women in our ward.
Thankfully, Micaela is not embarrassed to have me around, and we have made so many memories together at activities, girls' camp, youth conference, and Sunday lessons.
It's a great contrast to some of the boys' attitudes.
When one-who-will-not-be-named was in junior high I was invited by the art teacher to come to the school to learn how to throw a clay pot on a wheel. I was excited about it because it was on my bucket list.
But . . .
I was expressly forbidden by the one-who-will-not-be-named to step foot in the school.
I'm not bitter---
He outgrew his embarrassment (I'm pretty sure.)
and I found another way to have that experience.
