Summer Weddings

The day Julie and Dan were married was "one of those days." Mom and I drove up to Mendon together and left with plenty of time to spare. Mom likes to be early everywhere she goes (not something I'm good at usually). However, we ran into construction on I-15 so we took an alternate route. We had no way of knowing that Utah Power & Light had a massive tank (or something) going 5 miles an hour and blocking the entire road in Perry! We arrived 20 minutes late and, though we told them not to, they waited for us to arrive. Mom locked her keys in the car and it cost $65 for her to get it opened. And then--the air conditioning was not working!

However, none of that mattered. Dan & Julie have been through so much and it was wonderful to see them married. Julie planned a fabulous luncheon afterwards.

They day ended great. We went to visit Gary & Tiff in their new house. It's beautiful, in a great neighborhood, with plenty of room for their family to grow.

There are two more weddings coming up this month:
Alycia and Chris
It was fun to hear how the story of their courtship.
